Lydia was one of 6 singers out of 501 participants who made it to the finals of the Queen Sonja International Music Competition, which was held in the Grieg Hall, Bergen, Norway on November 20th 2021.

As one of 43 singers, Lydia was chosen out of the 501 to sing in the preliminary rounds. After that, she got through to the semi finals as the only Norwegian participant, and on November 20th she was a part of the finals where she won the Ingrid Bjoner Prize.

In the final concert, Bergen Philharmonic was conducted by Sir Mark Elder. The final will be broadcasted on Norwegian National television (NRK) on November 28th.
